I am a qualified psychotherapist and counsellor, accredited by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP Accred).
I live in Cambridge, where I provide psychotherapy in my private practice, alongside my work as a counsellor at the University of Cambridge Counselling Service, and as a Specialist Mentor at the Disability Resource Centre, also at Cambridge University.
I have 10 years of experience in mental health,  psychotherapy and counselling, working in psychiatric hospitals, mental health clinics as well as educational settings (university, schools and preschools) and the voluntary sector.
My approach to psychotherapy is psychodynamic, although I have background in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) as well.

“A child’s feet need not be all the time firmly planted on the earth. If a little girl wants to fly we do not just say ‘Children don’t fly!’. Instead of that we pick her up and carry her around above our heads and put her on top of the cupboard, so that she feels she has flown like a bird to her nest…"
MY TRAINING
BA (Hons) MA ClinPsych
I was trained as a clinical psychologist in Israel, where clinical psychologists are the most formally and intensively trained in the practice of psychotherapy, above all other professions. This training consists of 5 years full-time studies, integrated with 2 years of highly-supervised practice, alongside the undertaking of personal therapy. This training is varied, combining psychodynamic therapy alongside cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT).
Four years after graduation, I reached the level of Specialist in this field. My qualification was recognized and acknowledged for the practice of counselling and psychotherapy by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotheray (BACP).
